Here is a blog about Matt and my (Erin) January Interim in the Netherlands. We will be learning about Dutch engineering and how the Dutch have change their landscape. I will try and post everyday about our daily excursions.

Jan 14 Rijksmuseum

On Friday we had some time to kill before we needed to catch the train to Utrecht to meet up with Matt's cousin Ron, so we decided to go to the Rijksmuseum. We saw the Night Watch by Rembrandt, and a lot of Delft Blue, it was all beautiful. Of course you can't take pictures on the inside, so we took pictures from the outside. After the Rijksmuseum we headed back to Broek in Waterland packed and then headed back to Amsterdam to catch a train to Utrecht to meet Ron. Of course it was raining that day so we took a bus from the train station to the store. We met up and waited til the shop closed. (FYI: Earlier we bought a European prepaid phone, but we couldn't get it to work) So we headed to a MediaMart where they helped us get it up and running. Then we head out for dinner at a very nice Italian restaurant.
